Tasks include:
- harvesting garlic and hanging it in the back shed for curing
- harvesting turnips and peas, then replanting the area for fall
- planting salad greens for fall
- planting beans for fall
- staking and pruning tomatoes
- general weeding

Recent rains coupled with warm sunshine make for a happy school garden (not to mention thriving mosquito population)! It's time to harvest a few things and replant for fall. While it's not an officially scheduled workday, the gardener-in-residence will be at the school on Friday morning around 8am to do some work in the front garden plots and overflow garden. Anyone is welcome to join in the fun, and will be encouraged to take home some midsummer vegetables in return!
