The first summer garden workday is Wednesday, June 28 from 5:30-7:30pm. (Note: the weather forecast calls for rain all day and we may need to reschedule for Thursday, June 29. If this is the case, an announcement will be posted here and on Facebook by afternoon.) Bring your own picnic dinner, work gloves and bug spray. There will be tasks for everyone; families are welcome!

Crestwood students have been working hard planting the school gardens and everyone is eager to see everything grow over the summer for a bountiful fall harvest! Want to help maintain the gardens over the summer? Families are invited to our summer workdays: Wednesday, June 28 5:30-7:30pm Thursday, July 27 5:30-7:30pm Wednesday, August 23 5:30-7:30pm BYO picnic dinner and bug spray. Enjoy a taste of ripe vegetables from the garden. Be ready for weed pulling and other maintenance tasks. Want to adopt the gardens for a week during the summer? Tasks include watering and weeding. Perks include getting to know other outdoor volunteers, collecting ripe vegetables that ripen over the summer, and the satisfaction that comes from working with your hands in good, clean dirt!
